I lost my best friend February 12, 2005.   The man who gave me my start, the man who encouraged every move I made, the man who suffered when he thought I took a wrong path in life, then rejoiced with me when we both realized, it was a good path.  I lost a smiling face, a personality that loved everyone and everyone loved him.  The man that continues to encourage me every day when I walk to the barn and can hear him say "Hey, we have a new baby!"  He loved the new foals and always thought this one is the BEST one, the FASTEST one, the one with the LONGEST legs.  Now, we are expanding our farm, just like he told me to.

I miss my DAD!

Sidney "Buster" Levine.
91 years of age

IN Loving Memory of my Friends and Partners - Hermitage Kathleen and Orcland S. Chairman.

This is their prayer

Never think of me as dead...I've just gone on ahead...
and the Love you gave to me I will carry through eternity.
Keep me always on your mind by loving others of my kind.
Do not linger in your grief...just hold onto this belief...
That when it's time for you to come this way...
I'll be waiting for you on that day.

Aquarian Smoke Alert
"Smokey"

1991 Chestnut Gelding

Smokey was purchased in 1991 for Pete to ride in the Sheriff's Mounted Unit.  He and Smokey logged many hours together and if I had to build a horse for Pete, it could not have been a better match.  Smokey was patient, kind and big enough to be intimidating if needed be.

We lost Melody July 10, 2009 at the age of 25.  Melody was purchased by Triagn Farm Morgans in 1993.  She gave us  three foals including a National Champion, Triagn Nat'l Anthem .  She was sold to Chrislar Farm in Rowley, Mass where she was a solid lesson horse, beginner show horse  and fun trail horse for their large facility.  When Melody showed signs of slowing down, she came back to retire here in Florida and gave us one last foal.  Her son, Triagn Nati'l Anthem also returned to the farm and spent many months turned out with his mom.  We will miss this great mare and know that she touched the lives of many riders both young and old.  A tribute to the breed!

" Navy Hymn " as sung by the U.S. Navy Band's Sea Chanters

The "Navy Hymn" is Eternal Father, Strong to Save. The original words were written as a poem in 1860 by William Whiting of Winchester, England, for a student who was about to sail for the United States. The melody, published in 1861, was composed by fellow Englishman, Rev. John Bacchus Dykes, an Episcopalian clergyman.

The hymn, found in most hymnals, is known as the "Navy hymn" because it is sung at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It is also sung on ships of the Royal Navy (U.K.) and has been translated into French.

Eternal Father was the favorite hymn of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and was sung at his funeral in Hyde Park, New York, in April 1945. It was also played by the Navy Band in 1963 as President John F. Kennedy's body was carried up the steps of the U.S. Capitol to lie in state. Roosevelt had served as Secretary of the Navy and Kennedy was a PT boat commander in World War II.
